Hong Kong department store Lane Crawford is celebrating their 160th anniversary. They’ve invited various designer to redesign a traditional Chinese ming-style chair, including Chinese Qu Guangci of Guangci.
He believes the Ming Chair is a representation of heritage and heritage can be interpreted as a root of a tree. “I even want a flock of birds to think my chair as a tree”
